The written works set in the world of Kolgennon range from short stories and novellas to full novels set within an expansive series. Despite this range, they all come together to form a coherent whole.

Focused on the present of the world of Kolgennon, the eight hundred and fifty sixth year after the fall of old Kolbos by most reckonings, these books largely centre on the Xosu people.

Recommended Reading Order

Though the books can be read and enjoyed in any order or as individual stand alone stories, it is recommended that they are enjoyed in chronological order as laid out below.

The Year of the Dark Spring - set eight hundred and thirty-two years after the fall of old Kolbos, this book is the first chronologically and thirty three years before the following works.​

Into the Land of the Dying Flame - This work falls within the A Scattering of Leaves series, but its set just before the events of the main book series.
